A family-friendly festival in the popular seaside town of Whitstable, featuring the talents of local children and young people supported by specialist teachers and industry professionals.

On a sunny day in June 2025, the joyful sound of music rang out in the garden of The Monument pub. The inaugural Dream Louder Music festival was a huge success with around 50 young people performing to a lively and adoring audience.

Originally devised as an opportunity for students at a local school to showcase their talents, the festival has outgrown its beginnings as it encompasses a wider pool of talented young musicians and bands from the local area. Featuring acts including rock bands, vocal bands, solo singers and a choir, the festival has outgrown an audience beyond the expected friends and family. The generosity of schools, businesses and individuals gave the young people the opportunity to perform with professional-level equipment on a bigger stage than many of them had previously experienced.

Dream Louder festival 2026 will be bigger and better. It will be held over three days from Friday 5th June to Sunday 7th June and will feature more bands and singers than ever. Full details of the line-up will be announced nearer to the festival, including some exciting headline acts you will not want to miss.
